CALGARY, ALBERTA, October 23, 2013 – California Nanotechnologies Corp. announces voting results from its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held October 18, 2013 in Calgary, AB. 

A total of 10,662,332 common shares representing 48.57% of the Company's issued and outstanding common shares were voted in connection with the meeting. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business, including election of each director nominee as follows: 

David F. Grant 100%

Donald Kelly 100%

Norman Goodrich 100%

Christopher Melnyk 100% 

Shareholders voted 100% in favour to appoint MNP LLP as auditors, and 100% to reapprove the Company's 10% rolling stock option plan.
